I had my wisdom tooth extracted today and the procedure felt like it took 2 minutes if that. Dr Flora Menzies and her lovely nurse were kind, caring, helpful and reassuring. I felt totally safe and relaxed the entire time. She took the time to make sure I was calm and checked in with me constantly. The procedure was so easy and painless and she made sure of that. I could not fault the service I received it was absolutely top notch. I heard so many horror stories about wisdom tooth extractions and none of them reflected my experience in the slightest. Flora is a fantastic surgeon and if I ever need an extraction again I would be delighted for her to do it.

All staff were friendly and extremely reassuring. Procedures like this are never pleasant and can be very stressful, but it was a quick, efficient pain free extraction.

I had 2 teeth removed today. The procedure itself was over very quickly and without any pain, even the injections didnt hurt which is what i was most nervous for but i didnt feel them. I cant fault that side of things.
The only thing i didnt like was it felt very clinical and emotionally cold. I didnt even get the chance to tell them i was nervous as it felt they wanted me in and out as quick as possible.
Removal was excellent but some warmth and reassurance alongside that would of made me feel a lot more at ease.

Mo and his assistant Maninda (I hope I've spelled her name properly) at KSS Epsom and Ewell did a great job of welcoming me and putting me at ease. I was given lots of local anaesthetic at the outset, and while we waited for it to take effect we chatted about the procedure, and after-care. Then Mo got on with my 2 tooth extractions, a molar and a pre-molar. It was all over in a jiffy, with no pain at all, just a bit of pushing and pulling and, as Mo had predicted, some slight crunching sounds. A top-class experience.

As a 79 y/o I faced my first ever extraction with a modicum of trepidation. Needlessly as it turned out.

Surgeon Sunita and nurse Charlotte put me at my ease and the whole process was carried out professionally and more quickly than I expected, and, moreover, totally without pain. As I write this forty-eight hours later, I have yet to experience any significant discomfort, let alone pain.

I was especially impressed by Sunita who was alert enough to query whether or not I had sought medical advice for some minor lesions on my balding pate! Such awareness and attention to detail, not to mention her faultless dental work, are hallmarks of a consummate professional.

I was grateful for the calm professionalism of Dr Menzies yesterday at the KSS oral surgery unit in Haywards Heath. Finding a functioning meter in the adjoining car park was considerably more stressful than having my tooth extracted. Her skill and no nonsense approach was much appreciated.
