Dr Maddix qualified from the University of Manchester , She went on to obtain her MJDF RCS England qualification , her (SAAD) Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry membership and her postgraduate certificate in implantology. Fatima is committed to her professional career development and gained her Fellowship in oral surgery and oral medicine to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Since graduating as a Dental Surgeon, she pursued further training in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at various UK hospitals. Fatima has worked as an Speciality doctor in oral and maxillofacial surgery since 2011 at Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals in London. She is passionate about the teaching and training of junior Doctors and Dentists.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, art and painting.
