Preeyan graduated with honours from Cardiff University, going on to pass his MFDS examinations while gaining extensive experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He worked across multiple hospitals and is currently working as an oral surgeon at multiple locations, and as a middle grade clinician in St Richards Hospital, Chichester.

His calming nature has helped treat many nervous patients and he is an accredited sedation provider. He is proficient in all aspects of oral surgery and enjoys treating all patients, including those with significant medical conditions and those with disabilities.

Although the majority of his work is oral surgery, he is studying Medicine at Kings College London, with one year remaining. He has won multiple awards and prizes during his time at Kings and he recently finished an MSc in Public Health and health services research. He has a strong passion for research, as well as teaching, working for two years as a clinical teacher at Guys Dental Hospital in London.

Outside of work and academia, Preeyan loves exploring rural and remote places around the world and recently spent a year living and travelling in Central and South America. He regularly undertakes dental charity work, including trips to Ghana and Tanzania. Preeyan is also a professional PADI divemaster and is able to speak well in German, Spanish and French.
