Sanaa qualified in dentistry from Dundee University, later fortifying her education with a postgraduate certificate in medical education from the same esteemed institution.

Throughout her career, Sanaa has worked in prominent positions across various dental institutes, most notably in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) unit of the Royal London Hospital. Here, she gained valuable experience in oral surgery, facial trauma, surgical dermatology, and the treatment of complex oro-facial conditions. Along her professional journey, she achieved the prestigious MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and underwent specialized training in implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Additionally, Sanaa’s commitment to continued learning saw her certified as a sedationist with SAAD.

Currently, Sanaa serves as an honorary lecturer for Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), contributing to the academic growth of budding dental professionals. Parallel to her role at QMUL, she has volunteered her expertise in various refugee camps, further solidifying her dedication to service. Outside the clinic and classroom, Sanaa finds balance through practices such as yoga and enjoys the calming ritual of tea.
